Festival of Ingenuity
Riverside Music Stage / Saturday July 13th
Brought to you by Darlington Borough Council and supported by Darlington Building Society, The Festival of Ingenuity's back in town celebrating the rich culture of invention across the region, and local music collective Tracks once again present a bill of innovative artists ready to soundtrack a summer afternoon by the riverside.
Last year saw a field of families basking in the glorious sunshine, relaxing on deck chairs and soaking up the summer sounds whilst helping themselves to the variety of food & drink stalls on offer. You can expect more of the same this year, complete with outdoor games, street performers, dance recitals and more.
The Pennyweight will be providing a beautifully stocked bar, and local vinyl record label Butterfly Effect will also be there with a selection of their records teeming with emerging local music.
The stage will be hosted in the Darlington Riverside Park area behind the Town Hall, so check out the rest of the festival and then head over with the family to spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying free live music
